In November of 2003, Jim and Dan Fox came together bringing their combined experience in the precision optics, metallurgical, semi-conductor, and several other markets together with a mission to serve those industries by delivering high quality abrasives and surface preparation materials for use in high-tech manufacturing processes.

2004 through 2007 saw steady growth for Ocean State Abrasives, allowing us to expand our product lines to further support our customers and their own growth.

At the beginning of 2008, Nancy-Jean Fox joined the Ocean State Abrasives team, bringing with her nearly ten years of business administration and management experience developed in the service of companies like Hasbro and the Textron Financial Group.

In 2008, we plan to strengthen our relationships with existing customers ensuring partnerships well into the future. We will actively seek out new vendors in an effort to keep costs down so we can provide some of the best product pricing available in the markets we serve.
